As a dietitians graduate, one of my labs was supervising the preparation of a classic Cajun meal. I picked up my Mom's recipe for frying frog legs and received an A in the assignment.
Ingredients
16 frog legs skinned and clean1 cup canola or peanut oil
1/2 cup flour1/4 cup yellow cornmeal
3 eggs, beaten1/2 cup milk
1 tsp paprika1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp black pepperdash of white pepper (optional)
season all to taste; flour for dusting
Directions
Rinse frog legs well and pat dry. Sprinkle Season-All on the frog legs to taste. In a separate glass bowl mix the egg and milk.
In another bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne, black and white pepper.

Take the seasoned frog legs and lightly coat with plain flour; helps the egg stick to the leg. Coat with egg mixture then dredge in the seasoned flour mixture until the leg is fully coated. Fry until golden brown in the oil that has been heated in a skillet. Drain on paper towel and serve with onion hush puppies.

FLANK STEAK - CROCK POT RECIPE
1/2 c. ketchup
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. lemon juice
Garlic powder or fresh garlic (1 clove or 1 tsp.)
Flank steak, cut into serving sizes

Place in crock pot and cook on high at least 5 or 6 hours.

Do not be afraid to try some Crab it is very delicious and easy too. Just take a large pot put a little water in the bottom and a little salt. Set a rack or anything in the bottom of pan that will keep crab out of water. Boil water place crab in pot with lid. In a about 7 min pull crab legs out give them just a sec to cool and start cracking. If I can do it you know it is easy. My kids love it....

Steaks fall under the meat and beans category of MyPyramid, the USDA’s food guide pyramid. According to MyPyramid, most adults need about 5 ½ oz. from the meat and bean group every day. Steak should be part of a well-balanced diet that includes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy products and healthy fats. Overeating steak to the exclusion of other foods can lead to a diet that is deficient in certain nutrients. Other foods included in the meat and bean group include poultry, fish, beans, legumes, pork and soy products.
